When is the last time you just ……
Ok here’s the thing
I’m walking along the beach and initially start to head off with intent ..
Exercise = Health
And then …
And then something changed
My outlook and view.
I adapted my mindset and intent to more of a restorative one
I pulled my head up
Adjusted my breathing
And took the time to notice the little things that I wouldn’t do if I was walking with intent ..
Movement is movement –
Steps are steps ..
to increase heart rate has a purpose but just as important is to reduce heart rate through movement
It has been a super stressful year
That has impacted us in different ways
I know my levels are crazy high
I am lucky that have an understanding On How it impacts my physiology
So for me this break is not about exercise for heart rate – I do that enough when I’m not on holiday
It’s about movement with a purpose to slow my breathing
To relax my shoulders
To allow my brain to stop sending messages to my body that I am running from a bear
Allow my body to rest and digest.
Because If we don’t do that well there is a whole bunch of issues that will arise from – stubborn fat loss – digestive issues – hormone issues – chronic fatigue – mental health to name a few ..
