Why is it we want something so much and yet it seems so hard to make it happen ? We start off engaged … fully invested … We do the research … we find the tools … we start off 100% invested and committed … and the little things crop up … we get tired … stressed … overwhelmed … etc … entitlement kicks in and that’s when we create barriers … too tired … time poor … etc it all starts to become too hard … with this old habits start to creep back in and we don’t seem to notice … until our results start to slow or stop then we start to lose faith .. then the self doubt and self belief takes a knock.. we quit on our goals .. believing they are un achievable until we hit rock bottom and try it all over again .. but this time our confidence is already Lower then the last time which can affect motivation .. the more  you do this the harder it gets.

“Why is it we want something so much and yet it seems so hard to make it happen ?”

Change is hard … it’s exhausting … And we tend to want to make big changes all at once .. we tend to focus on what we did wrong as opposed to what we did well .. So ……we need proven tools to help make it easier .. 1 .. we need a purpose – our why What do you want to change ? why is it so important? How will it affect our life ? What will it feel like? What will it look like? We need an emotional  attachment .. otherwise it’s like starting on a long drive to nowhere .. 2..how .. how do we get there? Having a plan a structure that we can see and believe in gives us structure, certainty and appeals to our analytical nature .  3. What .. what do we have to do to make this happen.. what small things can we do each day:week: month that slightly challenge us without seeming impossible or unsustainable ..  4. what are the barriers – what has stopped us from achieving the outcome before and how do we prepare for this to not derail is this time .. but out other potential situations that may get in the way and work on a plan to deal with it both before it happens and along the journey.

So if you want to change here is a good way toStart … I use these tools with a lot with my clients and they have been proven time and time again as important part of sustainable change .. Don’t quit on change .. it is achievable .. just do it differently and be patient ..
